Anybody share experience about software tools to calculate loss opportunity of equipment in the system when it fail.

Data collection is one of the few areas where plants can say they are different (from an administrative process perspective). In my opinion, to do the job effectively, you need to consider the design of the plant,the way it is operated and the market. I am a little bit pushed for time so I cant write too much now. Suffice to say we have built these for manufacturers,miners, chemical plants and the list goes on. We are soon to release a system that users can build screens to suit thier appications. If you are interested, we can discuss a trial off line.
