I just setup an FMEA process flow and now I must identify critical equipments to the process and classify the equipments considering the failure rate and failure impact( Class A, B and C). Does anyone have an example on Equipment classification. Thank you

Giga,
Your flow chart looks good. Once you have the RPN in rank order, assigning criticality should be fairly simple. Look for a distribution of High (5-8%), Medium (20-25%) and about 70% of Low criticality items. This will vary from system to system, and depends on your type of Industry/Process, the level of redundancy, failure rates etc., but overall, those targets are reasonable.
