I have been asked by a company to audit their condition monitoring program.They are using Entek gear and have no experience with it.The previous VA guy has left and after intial meeting with the maintenance department they are not familiar with any VA at all.I have only used Mastertrend and RBM ware over the years and I'm asking are there similarities between both softwares.ie.Data base set ups,machine set ups, reports etc.Looking for experience.

Davel - without knowing any more than what you have written, isn't there some sort of ethical issue here? If you don't know how this system works wouldn't it be more honest to admit it up front and suggest that they get someone in who does know the Entek software really well, so that this audit can be done properly.

Surely there must be someone in Australia who can do this.

If on the other hand the company involved don't want to pay, then they are going to get exactly what they deserve

Buzz I have admitted I am not familiar with Entek gear.Yes this is only a love job for a local industry in the area.I have since had a look at the soft ware and does not appear to be to bad to get around in.Boy,I was only asking a question for any tips and help.I thought this sight was to be helpful. I will probably reccomend they do get an Entek guy in to review there data base and training for their personal. I'm not sure if you are actually offended by this question.But assure you I have been staight up front with them. And will help if i can.Nothing more.Nothing less.
