We are experiencing alot of problems with our Peter Brotherhood Reciprocating compressors. This has started suddenly . Nothing has changed as to how we perform mainenance. When opening up we find alot of gunk in the packing. Sometimes we find liquid(This may be due to the gas cooling when the machine is stopped.I will attache some photos for you to look at.
Could you please share your experiences. Rgds Hadrian |

What about operational routines / standard operation procedure? Any new utilities operator? Inlet filter conditions detected at PM? How old are those units? Darth Eugene Vader |

Hadrian,
Is there a suction knock-out pot and is it working properly? Do you experience valve plate (or springs) breakage? If so, there may be liquid carry over. V.Narayan.
