Would it benefit us much? Although it just seeking for gas leak. Pls advice

Anyone use this camera produced by FLIR??

Only useful if you are detectind methane,VOC (Volatile Organic ompounds)leaks .

Its a good tool for petrocheemical industry but the cost is v.v.high.

But still its good.

guess it help detecting hydrocarbon leaks too am i right...but its just like hunting for leakages...

But its slightly easier to detect with the GasFindIR,

But keep in mind the price tag.

We have had good success detecting a hydrocarbon (heptane), but because of the price tag we purchased only one camera to be shared among a number of locations. It has been very helpful in assuring our compliance with government mandated emission limits for our facilities. It is helpful if the camera user is a trained thermographer.
