I am investigating new technology with regard to vibration analysis. Currently where I work we have one or two eight channel boxes on each of our printing press folder. We are hard wired to the e-monitor system. My question is this. On the new folder we are installing, am I limited to the number of channels per box. Forgive me if this sounds like a novice question. The fact is I am . I know that wireless is an option but how reliable is it. If in fact we stick to a hard wired system for monitoring . Also we are looking to increase the number of sensors we have installed on this new folder. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
