Have any of you guys per chance had to write up the procedure regarding vibration analysis or condition monitoring on a refinery plant. If so could you please forward me the lay-out. I have read through the one that is exsisting in our system and feel that there are many aspects not covered in it.the procedue was last revised in 1993, and many things have changed since.

Are talking about a guide or strategy for condition monitoring or how to do CBM?

I would recommend two good books from R. Keith Mobley

1) Vibration Fundamentals and
2) An introduction to Predictive Maintenance

Both are fairly recent, year 2002.
