Can anyone share valuable resources on the web with reference to this topic?

Or are there developers in this area around who would like to discuss?

I've used the CSI 4100 series wireless vibration equipment and was satisfied with it. I used it to monitor bearings on an overhead crane bridge.

As far as other signals are involved (such as process signals or displacement probes etc.) I am interested in wireless equipment from this company http://www.oceanasensor.com/ I haven't had a chance to buy it and try it out. As described to me it should be very flexible and be able to accomodate just about any type of signal you might need to send wirelessly.

Sorry Hadrian,

I only know of them, I don't know any details about the company. A friend happened to show me the equipment and told me about it's capabilities. I was intrigued by the possibility of using it to link dynamic signals to data aqusition equipment such as Bently Nevada ADRE.

Bently Nevada also makes wireless equipment...but I know even less about that stuff Smiler

Good Luck

We have worked with a company, RLW Inc that supplies the S2NAP unit. It is currently being used by the US Navy. An XML configuration file defines the sensors and operations that
the S2NAP™ performs. Once configured, the S2NAP™ acquires data, performs signal processing
and sends the results to a network host as an XML document. You can contact them at www.rlwinc.com or email me if you would like more information or contacts on how it is being used.

Maryland,
I would like more information. How are you using it? Type of equipment, results and how long have you used it?
