Actually I'm monitoring roller bearings, the intrument that I use is Vibscanner, when I make the route for a machine is difficult for me to determine the high pass and low pass filter. How should I set them up?

Hi Miguel,

You do not need to use high/low pass filtering
in Vibscanner. The method to have an early warning
is by using Schock Pulse measurements. Yet you will see defect frequencies in velocity spectrum when the defect is progressed enough to yield sufficient rms value so that it reaches to the minimum level of the instrument's dynamic range.
Please consult you vendor for details.
