I am looking into a new CBM software product that is used to report on the condition of equipment based on the condition of many I/P signals. It could be used on many applications including oil and gas, process, power generation, etc. It is data driven, process independent and it can accept a very large number of variables (signals). The system could train itself based on the condition of known good I/P signals but these could be manually changed on an individual basis.

Does anyone know if any such product is already in the market place or indeed if there would be a market for this?

Bryan, there is a software product that is primarily oil analysis driven but does include a methodology for inclusion of other analytical data with trending capabilities and alarms. The program is called Trakka and can be found at www.dingo.com. Good luck.
