For an HT Motor or Generator, please let me know whether Abbsorption Index, i.e Insulation Resistance(60 Secs)/ Insulation Resistance (15 Secs) gives better idea or Polarisation Index, i.e Insulation Resistance(600 Secs)/ Insulation Resistance (60 Secs).

I thought this is about heat insulation but actually it is about motor insulation.
