Ive been in the maintenance industry all my life, started after tech school repairing forklifts,then bigger forklifts, then trucks then trains, wasnt satisfied with that so went back for power generation, power transmission, worked awhile, got in electronics repair, then went for universal AC certificate. Now am the head of the building maintenance dept in a complex in St Louis. (been here 20 yrs)
We do all our own work on pumps, alignment, security systems,electrical plumbing in the complex. We have had a CMMS since 1997.
Currently slooooowly moving our systems to a energy management system using Bacnet as the budget allows.
Been trying to learn bacnet, vibration, condition monitoring principles for near future implementation.
Currently remarried to Kasey and I enjoy fishing between taking fish off her hook. Hobbies are WORLD CHAMPION CARDINALS ! (sorry),garage sales, fishing lure collecting, theater, karaoke.
