Vrop, nice to meet you,
I have a Leonova since 2006, I have carried the Predictive Mainetenace since then, but until now I have some problemas with the SPM technics, specially when I want to analize bearings a variable speed and load, and also its speed is low (less than 80 RPM), I tried using the function "Recording" and I think that It's a good option, but when I want to capture an spectrum several times it does not show a good spectrum.
Do you know If SPM have vibration transducer (acelerometers) to low fecuencies (0.5, 2 Hz)??.
Do you know what is the dinamic range of the leonova o leonova infinity?.
Do you know what is the natural frequency of the transducers TRV21 (with magnet and with hand hold) or TRV72 and quick connector SPM??

I would like to hear your comments.

Vrop, I really appreciate if you can send me extra information about the SPM technique.

Regards.

Raul

I would need to know what functions you have on your Leonova. is it Leonova or Leonova Infinity?
What software do you run, condmaster or condmaster nova?
Are you able to give me your email so I can contact you direct?

Hi Vrop, I have The LEONOVA (not Infinity), I think my LEONOVA was the first version, after that SPM launched the Leonova Infinity. The software that I use is CondMaster Pro.
My email is rgonzales@ieqsa.com.pe

I hope to hear news from you.

Regards.

Hello, I would like to know their experience with the SPM adapters, in my case I use the standards adapter (24mm and 113mm), but In most of the machines (specially electrical motors) I use the SPM hand holder (without adapters) because the motors are smaller (20HP average), so Its difficult to install this adapters.

I hope to receive some comments about this topic.

Regards.

Hola Raul,

Im new here, this is my first post. I worked for sometime exclusively with SPM Products, including the Leonova classic, Are you using it for bearing monitoring (SPM) and vibration or just bearing monitoring? In which type of measurement are you having problems?

Edit: I just reado the whole thread. In my experience it is not easy to use SPM in low RPM, for this there is a value in the Leonova that you should increase, it is a multiplier, I do not remember the name right now, using this you should be able to get a reading, you should always use the same multiplier value for that measurment point though.
About using the Handholder for small motors, as long as the RPM arent too low, which is not likely, you should not have any problems, for this should first do a little survey to find the point of biggest load of the bearing and mark it, this point will be your measurement point.

Ok just remember, the name of the factor is N°Comp, (compensantion number), it will depend on the technique you are using, LR/HR, dBi/dBc

Hello JV, I use the Leonova for SPM and vibration, not only for bearings. I am interested in the method that you mentioned "multiplier". Do you have an email in order to talk about this topic? and also to talk in spanish..

Regards
